Position Description
The Federal Work Study program provides need-based employment for college students. Work study positions are available on and off campus and are awarded based on financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)
Responsibilities and duties vary based on the assignment. Available Work Study opportunities can be found on the Financial Aid website. Duties may include but not limited to:
- Greets visitors, answers telephones, files, and makes photocopies
- Takes messages and returns calls
- Prints and manages materials for office packets
- Collects and distributes mail
- Provides student support with form/application completion
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to multitask
