Position Description
This position proctors computer and paper based exams for students with disabilities.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the primary job functions herein described.
- Collects tests at the beginning of each day from office staff
- Organizes and arranges testing materials necessary on a daily basis
- Monitors the appropriate length of time for each student's testing period according to
- Monitors students frequently during testing to ensure exam information is not compromised
Assists students with accessing and exiting of computer based tests as prescribed by accommodations
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Must possess a willingness to be trained to facilitate testing using specialized software
Proficient in office equipment (scanners, printers, phones) and computer technology
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with a diverse population
Ability to work independently, be self-directed and task oriented
Should be detail-oriented and have the ability to review material for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
One year applicable work experience in an office or school setting
Preferences:
Experience working with individuals with disabilities
