Required
The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of administrative/office support experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or related field
- Two years of experience in increasingly responsible administrative support work
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or related field
- Advanced skills across Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; Word templates and mail merge; PowerPoint presentation design; and strong use of Teams/SharePoint
- Experience working in government, human services, or child welfare environments
- Experience coordinating large meetings, training, or complex events
- Strong skills in developing reports, spreadsheets, and data summaries for leadership decision making
- Experience with procurement processes, including purchase requests, contract amendments, and P card reconciliation requirements
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, solve problems, and manage shifting priorities effectively
- Modern office practices, administrative procedures, and customer service principles
- Scheduling, meeting coordination, and records management
- Basic budgeting, purchasing, and financial transaction processes
- Business writing standards, document formatting, and confidentiality requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar/scheduling tools
- Effective organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Document preparation, proofreading, and data entry accuracy
- Provide excellent front‑line service and route inquiries appropriately
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, reports, and presentations
