Responsibilities
- Coordinate all work related to assigned construction projects
- Manage day-to-day project operations at the job site level
- Supervise employees, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents
- Coordinate inspections with architects, engineers, consultants, and city officials
- Monitor project schedules, progress, budgets, and overall performance
- Prepare and submit weekly project reports including schedules, updates, issues, and upcoming milestones
- Track project budgets, change orders, purchases, invoices, and billing
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain organized project documentation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes
- Communicate effectively with clients, office staff, field teams, and vendors
- Assist with permitting processes, inspections, and project closeouts
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Engineering degree and/or construction management experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and project management software
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
