Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client relationships while providing leadership to project teams and trade partners. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring successful execution aligned with project goals
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
Lead contract administration, change management, procurement, and financial reporting
Coordinate permitting, approvals, insurance compliance, and regulatory requirements
Facilitate and lead project meetings to ensure alignment across all stakeholders
Monitor job costs and implement strategies to control expenses and mitigate risk
Ensure all work complies with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements
Drive a strong culture of safety and quality on the job site
Prepare and submit monthly project status reports
Lead project closeout, including turnover of manuals, warranties, and final payment documentation
Support business development efforts through client relationship management and participation in proposals as needed
Mentor and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
4–7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
Experience working for a general contractor required
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, MS Project, and related construction software
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely, effective decisions
Hospitality or restaurant construction experience is a plus
LEED, DBIA, or similar credentials are a plus but not required
Work Environment
This is a hands-on role that includes time both in the office and on active construction sites. The position requires navigating job sites, attending meetings, reviewing plans, and collaborating with field and office teams. Flexibility to support project demands during critical phases is expected.
