Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Shift Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:45pm
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer order deadlines.
- Analyzes production schedules and estimates the required worker hours for completing job assignments.
- Creates detailed schedule timelines to ensure adherence to customer shipment dates and equipment specifications.
- Develops comprehensive process plans, including resource allocation, equipment utilization, and floor space considerations for each customer order.
- Plans the flow of materials within the department and designs the physical layout of machines based on work orders.
- Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to enhance production methods, improve equipment performance, and enhance product quality.
- Proposes changes in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance the efficiency of the shop, department, or work crew.
- Coordinates manpower requirements by adjusting personnel levels and overtime to meet changing conditions.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems independently or provides assistance to workers in solving them.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials as needed for production processes.
- Assist with training of new and current associates.
- Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development.
- Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
- Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)
- Ability to work the required shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:45pm
- Preferred: High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; 4 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP experience preferred.
- Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
