About the role
As the Manufacturing Operations Team Supervisor, you will guide a team of production associates to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality output every shift. You will set the pace for performance, uphold standards, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while keeping the floor organized and running smoothly.
What you’ll lead
- Coach, train, and motivate production associates to meet and exceed operational targets.
- Distribute daily assignments and balance workloads to maximize throughput and efficiency.
- Champion safety, adhere to company policies, and enforce quality expectations without compromise.
- Track performance in real time, resolve bottlenecks quickly, and reduce downtime.
- Maintain orderly, clean work areas that align with company organization standards.
- Support quality initiatives to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications.
- Provide timely feedback, conduct coaching conversations, and drive employee development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to advance operational goals and solve problems.
- Spot process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing better ways of working.
- Keep accurate production records and communicate status and issues to management.
- Promote a respectful, collaborative, and team-first environment.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical school certification or relevant training preferred.
Experience
- 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution.
- Background as a Team Lead, Production Supervisor, or comparable role preferred.
