Pay: $15.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Position Summary

The Cashier is responsible for assisting customers with their Silver accounts and credit transactions while providing friendly, accurate, and professional customer service.

Cashiers must accurately process customer transactions, cash out credits through the Silver system in the required increments, maintain accurate records, and immediately report any discrepancies or unusual activity to management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with Silver account transactions.
• Process customer credit transactions accurately.
• Cash out customer credits through the Silver system.
• All credit cash-outs must be processed in increments of 5.
• Verify the correct customer account and credit amount before completing any transaction.
• Follow all company procedures for Silver transactions.
• Never manually alter or bypass established transaction procedures.
• Maintain accurate transaction records throughout the shift.
• Review transactions carefully to prevent errors.
• Immediately report transaction discrepancies to management.
• Report suspicious or unusual account activity.
• Assist customers with general questions regarding their Silver account when appropriate.
• Refer account problems or technical issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Keep the cashier area stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures assigned to the cashier station.
• Maintain customer privacy and protect account information.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Follow all company security procedures.
• Complete required reports or documentation.
• Assist management with transaction reconciliation when requested.
• Assist other employees during busy periods.
• Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a criminal background check, subject to applicable law.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be honest and trustworthy.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Be comfortable working with numbers.
• Be able to accurately process Silver credit transactions.
• Understand that customer credit cash-outs are completed in increments of 5.
• Have good customer-service and communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with customers.
• Follow company procedures exactly.
• Be comfortable using a computer, tablet, POS terminal, or Silver system.
• Be able to identify and report transaction discrepancies.
• Protect confidential customer and company information.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Be available to work assigned evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous cashier, customer-service, gaming, retail, or POS experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour

Employment and continued employment are subject to company policies, attendance expectations, job performance, background requirements, and applicable laws.
