Duties
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Handle purchasing, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate transactions and inventory accuracy
- Oversee cash handling, bookkeeping, and shift management to maintain operational efficiency
- Implement sales management techniques through effective communication skills and managerial leadership to boost retail sales
Experience
- Proven experience in assistant management or supervisory roles within the retail industry, preferably in convenience stores or similar environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and retail math
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing retail sales teams effectively
- Familiarity with operational management tasks such as budgeting, purchasing, stock control, and cash handling
- Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining organizational skills necessary for shift management and daily store operations
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
