Duties
- Lead daily store operations, including opening, closing, and shift management to ensure smooth functioning and high productivity
- Supervise and motivate the retail sales team, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance performance
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities and maintain optimal product presentation
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity
- Implement pricing strategies, purchasing decisions, and promotional activities aligned with company goals
- Conduct interviewing, employee orientation, and onboarding processes to build a skilled and customer-focused team
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in retail management and supervising teams
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred to serve diverse customers effectively
- Skilled in negotiation, sales management, and customer engagement techniques to drive revenue growth
- Proficient in inventory management software, POS systems, bookkeeping, and basic math for accurate transactions and record-keeping
- Demonstrated expertise in employee training & development, operational management, budgeting, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail industry sales team management practices including merchandising, stocking, pricing strategies, and inventory control
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during shift management while maintaining high standards of customer service
