Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of food and drinks.
- Manage Shift4 POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service regulations while promoting responsible drinking.
- Assist in setting up bar stations for events like banquets or catering functions, including food handling and beverage preparation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for change, and reconcile cash drawers at shift end.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations required for daily operations.
- Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for hospitality, brewing processes, catering setups, and food service protocols is advantageous.
