Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our weekend team. The ideal candidate will have the skill and desire to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks and food, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to all cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist in setting up for special events or catering functions as needed.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain a bartending license.
• Strong background in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with sales techniques and retail math to effectively manage transactions and inventory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
