Summary:
Wag’n Tails is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Sales Development Specialist to support our growing sales team and expanding customer base. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, highly organized, and committed to delivering a seamless, “white glove” purchase experience for our customers.
We have tons of prospects raving about our product that want to get started with us – but may not know what the process looks like or how to qualify. You’ll be the go-to person for educating them on their options, supporting them on their journey, and introducing them to one of our consultants when the time is right. What You'll Do:
- Review inbound pre-qualification applications
- Engage and nurture leads through personalized follow-ups
- Educate prospects on financing and leasing options
- Maintain detailed records of activities and lead status using Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule meetings with qualified leads
- Assist with trade show planning and execution
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Proactive communicator who thrives on solving problems and taking ownership
- Eagerness to grow professionally in a fast-moving, high-impact environment
- Comfortable learning new systems and working with CRMs (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer usage
- Bilingual is a bonus, but not required
