Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Elkhart, IN, for a Business Development Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, conducting market research, and analyzing economic and industrial data to drive economic growth. Daily tasks will include engaging with businesses, facilitating partnerships, and providing exceptional customer service to local and prospective businesses. Additionally, the role involves supporting strategic initiatives aligned with the EDC's missions and goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret and utilize industrial and economic data effectively
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and present ideas clearly to a variety of stakeholders
- Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Proven Customer Service skills to support and engage with businesses and community partners
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred
