Role Description The Unit Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Newnan, GA, responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations. This role includes managing and coaching associates, supervising food preparation and service, and ensuring that guests receive friendly, efficient, and high-quality service at all times. The Unit Manager monitors staffing levels, schedules team members, and helps recruit, train, and develop associates to support a positive work environment. This position also oversees cash handling, inventory, and cost controls to meet sales and profitability goals while maintaining company standards for cleanliness, safety, and food quality. The Unit Manager collaborates with leadership to implement company initiatives, resolve customer concerns, and uphold Waffle House’s mission of caring for people and serving great food.
Qualifications
- Possess strong leadership and team management abilities, including staff supervision, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Demonstrate customer service and hospitality skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and resolving concerns professionally.
- Have operational and organizational skills, such as scheduling, inventory oversight, cash handling, and adherence to restaurant procedures.
