Waev's headquarters and factory are located in Anaheim, California.JOB SUMMARY:Ensures all fabricated parts conform to engineering specifications. Operates automatic and cold saws, drilling and milling equipment, press brakes,benders, notchers, ironworkers, sheet metal shears, and BLM and Trumpf lasers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow all company safety rules, policies and procedures Operate and maintain machines in the fabrication area, including automatic and cold saws, drilling/milling machines, press brakes, benders, notchers, ironworkers, sheet metal shears, and BLM and Trumpf lasers.Ability to read/interpret blueprint engineering drawingsKeep machines and work area clean and organized dailyMove completed work orders in MES system SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:Min 1 years' hands shop experience in operating press brakes, saws, ironworker, bender, sheet metal shear preferredAutomatic and cold saw operation preferredHigh school diploma/GED or equivalent required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:May have exposure to loud noise levels, dust, fumes, and chemicals.Requires extensive use of the eyes and firm grasping and/or fine manipulation using both hands.Must be able to lift 40lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, and stand/walk up to 8 hours or more per day.EEO STATEMENT Waev Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will make all employment-related decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
