Saw Operation Epoxy Coating Line
The Production Line Worker supports two core areas of our manufacturing operation: saw cutting and epoxy coating. This position plays a key role in preparing steel materials to precise specifications and ensuring high‑quality epoxy‑coated products that meet DOT and internal standards.
As a Saw Operator, the Production Line Worker safely and accurately cuts steel bar to specified lengths using band saws. This work ensures materials are prepared to exact specifications, properly documented, and staged for welding, assembly, or shipping.
As an Epoxy Line Worker, the Production Line Worker prepares steel components, operates and monitors the epoxy coating line, inspects finished product, and maintains a clean and efficient work area. This work ensures coated products meet DOT requirements, internal quality standards, and traceability expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate band saws according to cut lists and production requirements.
- Set up saws, including blade selection, vise adjustments, feed rate, and coolant flow.
- Verify correct material type, size, and heat number before cutting.
- Perform test cuts and adjust machine settings to maintain tolerance requirements.
- Operate and monitor the epoxy coating line, including pre heat ovens, coating heads, conveyors, and cure zones.
- Load and unload steel bars, baskets, or assemblies onto the line using hoists, rollers, or manual handling tools.
- Stage incoming and outgoing material in designated areas.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Availability for occasional Friday overtime
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work independently with little supervision
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working on a production line or in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of hands to handle tools, materials, and controls
- Frequent standing, talking, and listening
- Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive movements
- Ability to work in variable temperatures (hot or cold)
- Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
