Operations Trainer (4504)

PRIMARY DUTIES: (At the direction of the Operations Training Manager) 

• Gather and evaluate information from WFM Leadership, Practice Managers (PMs) and Patient Services Representatives (PSRs) on current training processes to identify strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement to ensure training needs are met for assigned clinics and communicate identified training needs and recommendations to the Operations Training Manager. 

• Collaborate with PMs to support the implementation of training material updates and methods to improve PSR retention. 

• Deliver approved training curriculum for new hires. 

• Deliver approved continuing education curriculum and follow-up training. 

• Perform quality audits for new hires and competency observations for new hires as directed. 

• Ensure new hires are aware of the Center’s policies and procedures.   

• Communicate with PMs, and PSRs to ensure training needs are met and provide feedback to the Operations Training Manager regarding identified needs or concerns. 

• Collaborate with PMs in implementing training material for process updates as needed.   

• Collaborate with PMs to coordinate assigned training schedules for Patient Services Representatives and other WFM Operational leaders as directed. 

• Document progress of various training statuses and communicate training outcomes and follow-up needs for evaluation of performance. 

• Provide support regarding established policies and procedures for PMs and PSRs as needed and escalate questions requiring clarification to the Operations Training Manager. 

• Communicate approved updates to processes to PMs, PSRs and staff of other departments as needed.   

• Provide “Hands On” training in the classroom and clinic setting as assigned.

REPORTS TO:  Operations Training Manager 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required.   Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience required: 2 years of experience in training facilitator role, 2 years of experience in curriculum development

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Visual and auditory accuracy 

• Shift length - 8 hours 

• Ability to drive 5-6 hours per day and make several stops while maintaining concentration, and deal with a variety of stressful situations including adverse weather, traffic, and deadlines 

• Continuous repetitive grasping and manipulation of both hands 

• Occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing 

• Occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs. 

• Occasionally working in confined, noisy, dusty areas 

• Understand/carry out simple/detailed, oral/written instructions with retention 

• Read and interpret detailed specifications 

• Subject to random drug tests
