Job Overview:
Wabash is seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Construction Supervisor to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and construction of fiber optic outside plant projects.
Duties:
- Supervise the FTTH construction of outside plant projects.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and safety guidelines.
- Provide leadership and work alongside in-house crew.
- Ensure availability of resources for project executions including labor, materials and equipment.
- Manage scope changes during construction and take necessary corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols on project sites.
- Understand and follow company policy.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
- Be available to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, overtime and emergency work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record. CDL is a plus.
- Experience in fiber outside plant construction and knowledge of standards and regulations.
- Previous experience supervising a construction crew is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, project planning, and resource management.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
