What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courthouse Custodian position at Wabash County Government?
Courthouse Custodian
Work schedule: Full-time 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. M-F
Primary duties include:
Maintain cleanliness of the building including floor maintenance, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trash and recyclables, sanitizing and restocking restrooms.
Responsible for general upkeep in and around the Wabash County Courthouse Complex
Maintain outdoor areas including landscaping and clearing of ice and snow.
Assist other custodial/maintenance as assigned, if different buildings.
Skills and knowledge:
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods, crouch/kneel and climb ladders.
Must be able to lift/carry, push/pull objects weighing 50 lbs.
Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals and instructions for use of various chemicals.
Must be dependable.
