This role interacts directly with all functions in the business from purchasing to manufacturing to accounting supporting inventory receiving, accuracy, and location tracking; including material picking and delivery for shop orders. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

• Experience using an MRP or ERP inventory management system in a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing inventory transactions within an MRP system on a daily basis
• Cycle counting and inventory reconciliation experience
• Receiving and inventory control experience
• Forklift experience
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently

WHAT YOU’LL DO

A typical day in this role may include the following:

• Maintain inventory accuracy using our ERP system
• Process inventory transactions within the ERP system
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
• Inventory control and Audits
• Shipping and Receiving
• Picking material for shop orders
• Forklift operation
• Loading and unloading orders and deliveries
• Inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Reporting damaged or miss-shipped items promptly and working closely with suppliers to take necessary corrective actions
