Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced RN/LPN to support annual HEDIS reporting through medical record review, clinical abstraction, and accurate data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstract clinical information from medical records using HEDIS criteria and enter results accurately into the health plan database.
- Review documentation for HEDIS measures supporting annual NCQA reporting.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards, including less than a 5% error rate.
- Follow HIPAA, confidentiality, compliance, and departmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with management and support special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license.
- 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- HEDIS abstraction experience required.
- Experience in utilization review, quality assurance, medical record review, or site audits.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and quality improvement processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
