Northern and Southern CA law firm is seeking an experienced full time Workers Compensation Attorney

A prominent California law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys to join its expanding workers' compensation defense practice. Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD).
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Workers compensation defense experience
• Strong legal research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to proactive case management and client advocacy.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full defense of workers' compensation cases from inception through resolution.
• Handle all phases of discovery and litigation, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, including insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Develop case strategies and provide timely updates to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).

Position: 90% remote since you may need to travel to attend court appearances

Billable Hours: 195 a month

Salary: 92-210k depending on experience
