Key Responsibilities
- Review patient history and provider orders prior to examinations
- Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently
- Obtain high-quality images and measurements for physician interpretation
- Conduct specialized scans including: Kidney ultrasounds, Bladder ultrasounds & Scrotal ultrasounds
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of ultrasound equipment
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Provide exceptional patient-centered care
Required:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current ARDMS/RDMS certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work independently
- 1 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience in outpatient or specialty practice settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems (experience with Medent is a plus)
- Experience using Philips or Siemens ultrasound equipment
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday
- Typical hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Part-Time opportunities available (20 hours or less per week)
- Four-day workweek may be considered
- Optional overtime opportunities available for occasional Saturday coverage
- $37.00 - $45.02 per hour
- New graduates considered at the lower end of the range
- Candidates with 3 years of experience typically start at $42 /hour
- Primarily based in Liverpool, NY
- Occasional coverage at a nearby office may be required based on operational needs or staff PTO coverage
