Our client seeks a Staff Attorney to work with all attorneys and staff to assist with discovery tasks and effective case prosecution. The Staff Attorney's core job duties include a variety of discovery-related tasks such as document review, coding, and synthesis; legal and factual research; and drafting discovery-related documents.

- Identify key documents produced in discovery and code in accordance with review manual.
- Complete regular memos summarizing results of document review, and apply document review findings to case outlines, timelines, proof charts, etc.
- Review and code client documents for production and privilege, in accordance with review manual.
- Respond to queries from other document reviewers and provide guidance and training regarding document review and coding.
- Prepare and update document review and/or coding manuals.
- Prepare and review privilege logs.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions by identifying potential deposition exhibits and assisting with drafting deposition outlines.
- Communicate regularly with case teams about review progress and noteworthy documents to integrate findings into overall case strategy.
- Develop an understanding of the legal and factual underpinnings of the assigned cases.
- Assist eDiscovery Manager and attorneys with building and training predictive coding models for document review.
- Conduct legal and factual research and writing as requested by supervising attorneys.
- Assist with other discovery-related tasks, including custodial information gathering and other client document collection and review tasks, running and building search term reports and data statistics for discovery review projects, and drafting discovery responses and discovery motions.
- Law degree and license to practice law.
- Ability to think independently and take ownership of projects as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to working as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must be or become proficient in variety of document review platforms, including Everlaw.
Salary : $72,000 - $105,000
