This is a full-time, on-site Speech Therapist role located in West Melbourne, VIC. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and provide tailored intervention plans for clients with speech, communication, and language disorders. Responsibilities include working directly with children to improve their communication skills, addressing conditions such as dysphagia, and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and progress tracking. Qualifications
- Proficient skills in Speech Therapy including addressing speech and language disorders.
- Experience in working with Dysphagia and other swallowing-related challenges.
- Knowledge of Communication Disorders and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Expertise in identifying and managing Language Disorders in children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Appropriate certifications or licensure in Speech Therapy.
- Experience working with children and families in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
- Understanding of NDIS plans, Medicare, and Private Health funding is advantageous.
