We are seeking a motivated Instrumentation Service Technician to support the repair, maintenance, and testing of GC/MS and LC/MS instrumentation both in-house and at customer sites. This is a great opportunity for an early-career Chemistry professional interested in analytical instrumentation and technical service. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemistry or related field
  • 1-2 years of hands-on GC/MS or LC/MS lab experience
  • Familiarity with Empower, ChemStation, OpenLab, or MassHunter
  • Basic knowledge of Waters and Agilent chromatography instruments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Perform instrument repair, preventive maintenance, and performance qualification
  • Troubleshoot GC and LC instrumentation issues
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Keep work areas organized and clean
  • Study manuals and complete technical training/certifications

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
