- Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team, delivering federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
- Prepare and review federal tax returns for S-corporations, partnerships, individuals, and C-corporations ranging from small businesses to multi-entity groups.
- Conduct tax research on a variety of issues and assist in drafting responses to IRS and state tax authority inquiries.
- Support special projects involving accounting methods, ASC 740, entity structuring, and other advanced tax topics.
- Develop recommendations and tax-planning strategies for clients and collaborate with firm leadership to implement solutions.
- Coordinate with specialty areas such as state and local tax, high-net-worth planning, credits and incentives, and business advisory services.
- Participate in ongoing learning, mentoring, and professional development programs.
- Build strong internal and external relationships through networking, client interaction, and community involvement.
- Support junior team members through coaching aligned with the firm's Care and Teach philosophy.
- Engage in team activities and firm events that promote a healthy work-life balance.
- 2 years of relevant tax experience
- 4-year degree; CPA-eligible
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or related business field with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA
- CPA preferred
- 2 years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a public accounting environment
- Strong communication, time-management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and analytical abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and tax preparation software
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
