Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Professional certification such as PMP, PMC-LS, or similar is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent project scheduling software
Expert Technical Leadership
- Design and implement integrated project controls systems combining schedule, cost, and risk
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, resource-loaded schedules for complex projects
- Perform resource optimization and resolve complex resource conflicts
- Conduct financial analyses including probabilistic cost forecasting and cash flow modeling
- Create customized reporting dashboards and metrics providing real-time project insights
- Develop and maintain schedule baselines and track project progress against approved schedules
- Identify schedule risks, manage float, and optimize critical path opportunities
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks for schedule performance
- Perform quantitative risk analysis using Monte Carlo and other advanced scheduling techniques
- Manage project stakeholder communications regarding schedule performance and impacts
- Analyze schedule variance and recommend corrective actions
- Serve as primary technical advisor to project managers on scheduling and controls matters
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for project controls processes, tools, and methodologies
- Mentor Project Controls Specialists, providing technical guidance and professional development
- Develop training materials and lead schedule management training sessions
- Establish and document scheduling best practices and standards
