Required Qualifications
- 8 years of civil litigation paralegal experience
- Expert knowledge with the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal and judicial scheduling systems
- Strong Command of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
- Proven ability to draft, format, and file complex litigation documents with minimal supervision
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy docket and work efficiently under pressure
- Professional demeanor with a strong client-service orientation
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Draft, format, and file motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Calendar and track all deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Review trial orders and ensure compliance with all requirements and timelines
- Coordinate hearings and utilize judicial calendars
- Maintain organized case files and monitor case progression
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries
- Assist with trial preparation as needed
- Handle e-filing through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
- Assist attorneys with additional litigation support tasks as assigned
