Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering design projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and review site plans, grading, drainage plans, utility layouts, and related civil engineering documents.
- Conduct site inspections, field evaluations, and feasibility studies to support design accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee planning activities including stormwater management, land development, infrastructure improvements, and regulatory approvals.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations and permitting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, clients, contractors, and municipal partners.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/design software to produce accurate deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license - Required or Strongly Preferred.
- Proven experience in civil site design, planning, and stormwater management.
- 5 years of civil engineering experience with successful project delivery.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D or related tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Fort Wayne, IN and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
