Our Client, a Southwest Florida construction company, is seeking an experienced Selective Demolition Estimator to study project scopes and plans in order to build budgets and accurately estimate job costs for demolition projects. This position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers
- Complete required vendor paperwork prior to the start of projects
- Prepare and send estimates to customers
- Utilize software systems to maintain and manage customer relationships
- Support pre-construction and bid management activities, including documentation
- Manage and update online project management systems
- Perform administrative duties such as handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain RFI and bid contact logs for projects
- Revisit previously submitted proposals and budgets with clients when necessary
- Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed material lists to estimate total construction costs
- Work closely with the Construction Project Manager to coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, and time requirements to estimate overall project costs
- Visit construction sites regularly to gather client requirements and project details
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum of one year of experience as a construction estimator
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Familiarity with construction methods, heavy equipment, and procurement platforms
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks when required
- Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics
- Excellent communication, project management, and time-management skills
- Three years of experience in the construction industry (estimating or construction management preferred)
- Knowledge of PlanSwift or other takeoff software is recommended
