The Safety Coordinator / Manager serves as a coach, leader, and subject-matter expert in construction safety. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting training, and promoting a proactive culture of safety across all job sites.

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting training, and promoting a proactive culture of safety across all job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform job-site safety audits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements
- Train employees on job-specific and industry safety standards
- Maintain OSHA logs and perform all required OSHA recordkeeping
- Investigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Serve as a resource for all safety-related concerns
- Assist with job-site safety planning and pre-task planning
- Participate in safety planning and coordination meetings
- Analyze safety data to identify trends and prevent future incidents
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Solid knowledge of construction safety and health regulations (OSHA)
- Ability to identify current and future safety risks and recommend corrective actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field and office teams
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)
- OSHA 500 Trainer
