Our client is seeking an entry-level Buyer to join a Tactical Procurement Team within Indirect Procurement Shared Services. This role supports low-risk, low-capital purchasing activities and provides hands-on exposure to the full procurement lifecycle, including professional services and IT services.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform system work primarily in SAP Ariba and DocuSign
- Process a high volume of low-risk, low-dollar purchase requisitions (typically $25,000-$100,000)
- Validate contract rates and ensure purchase requisitions align with supporting documentation
- Conduct basic benchmarking activities
- Issue purchase orders and support procurement operations
- Partner with Contract Analysts to coordinate DocuSign signature workflows
- Research purchase requisitions to determine:
- Next steps in processing
- Payment status and issues
- Signature status and issues
- Initiate and process supplier onboarding and supplier additions in Ariba
- Invite suppliers to register in Ariba and follow up through completion
- Process mutual and non-mutual NDAs, including coordinating redlines with Legal
- Process simple contract amendments (e.g., extensions or date changes)
- Create, distribute, and execute procurement documentation
- Support purchase requisition issuance through Ariba
- Process PO close requests in Ariba and Accounts Payable (manually and via automation tools)
- Support the Supplier Diversity Program, including mentorship initiatives and diversity events
- Capture and distribute meeting minutes for key procurement meetings
- Strong ability to learn and follow the principles of Continuous Improvement and Respect for People
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier onboarding through contract execution
- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba, DocuSign, and Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume workload
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Recent college graduate or 0-4 years of experience
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent procurement experience
- Reliable home internet connection capable of supporting remote work
- Prior experience or system familiarity with SAP Ariba
- Two interview rounds
- Panel interview with three team members
- Interviews conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams
