Key Responsibilities
- Perform digital plan takeoffs using estimating software to generate accurate material and labor quantities for commercial plumbing systems
- Interpret and analyze complex construction drawings and specifications, including DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent), potable water, and natural gas systems
- Identify and quantify all plumbing components, including piping, fittings, fixtures, water heaters, backflow preventers, and specialized systems
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and fixtures
- Review and validate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure alignment with project specifications and applicable plumbing codes
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating
- Strong knowledge of commercial piping systems (Copper, PEX, Cast Iron, PVC) and installation methods (ProPress, Victaulic, soldering, etc.)
- Proven ability to estimate large-scale projects such as hospitals, schools, retail centers, or similar commercial developments
- Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical specifications
- Field experience in commercial plumbing is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Full-time, in-person role
- Fast-paced environment where attention to detail and accuracy are critical
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
