Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and refractive care.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and medical eye conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients regarding ocular health.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and an outstanding patient experience.
Required
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active state optometry license or ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Experience in comprehensive and medical optometry.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and building long-term patient relationships.
- Part-time opportunity.
- Preferably 3 days per week (2 days considered).
- Consistent weekly schedule (no fluctuating days).
- Monday-Friday only.
- Typical clinic hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Potential to increase days and transition to a full-time role in the future.
Year 1 Compensation
- 3 days/week: $90,000 annualized salary.
- 2 days/week: $60,000 annualized salary.
- Transition to production-based compensation with increased earning potential.
- Expected opportunity for higher compensation compared with Year 1.
