Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mortgage Loan Officer role based in Bozeman, MT. The Mortgage Loan Officer will actively originate residential mortgage loans by meeting with prospective and existing clients, understanding their financial situations, and recommending appropriate loan products. Daily responsibilities include collecting and reviewing borrower documentation, submitting complete applications, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to move loans efficiently through the pipeline. The role involves maintaining current knowledge of mortgage guidelines and programs, explaining loan terms and requirements in clear language, and providing consistent, timely updates to clients and referral partners. The Mortgage Loan Officer will also build and nurture relationships with real estate professionals, community partners, and other referral sources to grow and sustain a quality loan portfolio.

Qualifications
- Experience working as a Loan Officer or in a similar mortgage sales role, with a strong track record of originating and closing residential loans.
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices, including loan products, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Underwriting concepts, credit analysis, and documentation requirements to structure files that meet lending guidelines.
- Demonstrated strength in Customer Service, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to support clients from diverse financial backgrounds.
- Applicable mortgage licensing as required by federal and state regulations (or ability to obtain licensure within required time frames).
- Proficiency with loan origination systems, basic financial calculations, and standard office software tools.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to fair, transparent lending practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
