Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead both Production and Packaging teams by communicating expectations, setting
objectives.
- Coach, train, and mentor employees; develop cross-functional skills and succession
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and recommend merit
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily production and packaging schedules; allocate labor and resources to
- Coordinate with the Plant Manager and other functional leaders to ensure smooth
- Monitor key process parameters and workflow efficiencies, implementing
- Maintain visibility on throughput, yield, and downtime; track and communicate
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and company quality standards across all
- Lead departmental quality initiatives, reinforcing ;right-first-time; and continuous
- Maintain accurate and complete production documentation and ensure readiness for
- Accept total responsibility for product quality across both production and packaging
Equipment, Maintenance & Safety
- Oversee operation, cleaning, and changeovers of equipment; coordinate maintenance
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and process
- Promote and enforce a safe, clean, and organized work environment consistent with
Data, Reporting & Analysis
- Compile, analyze, and present production and packaging performance data.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and bottlenecks to support data-driven decision-
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline (Engineering, Manufacturing, or
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing and/or packaging leadership
- Strong working knowledge of cGMPs, production planning, and process control.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automated production and packaging
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
