A well-established, multi-generational construction firm is seeking a limited number of qualified Construction Superintendents to join its team. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality project delivery through strong leadership, communication, and on-site management.
The Superintendent's primary objective is to collaborate closely with the assigned project team while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, design partners, subcontractors, trades, and internal staff. This position plays a key role in overseeing job site safety, quality control, scheduling, and resolving constructability challenges.
Project types include commercial mid-rise, industrial, retail, mixed-use, medical, hospitality, and multi-family developments.

This position plays a key role in overseeing job site safety, quality control, scheduling, and resolving constructability challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction project sites with a focus on quality, schedule adherence, safety, and budget control
- Oversee and inspect work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, subcontracts, shop drawings, and craftsmanship standards
- Maintain detailed jobsite documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety meetings (toolbox talks)
- Lead weekly foreman meetings and develop two-week look-ahead schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors and proactively address project challenges
- Manage client expectations and professionally resolve concerns or escalations
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously when applicable
- Proficiency with computers and construction software, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Procore, and Bluebeam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of construction layout and hands-on familiarity with tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented with a dependable work ethic
- Commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Superintendent for smaller tenant improvement (TI) and small ground-up projects
- Superintendent for a large-scale $65 million student housing project
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
- Salary range: (DOE)

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
