We are looking for a seasoned Municipal Law Attorney to provide top-tier legal counsel and representation to public agencies, including cities and special districts. From land use and contracts to ordinance drafting and governance, you'll play a key role in supporting public agencies' goals with practical, ethical, and innovative legal solutions.

- Provide clear, practical legal guidance to public agencies, such as cities and special districts, on complex issues like land use, contracts, and governance.
- Take ownership of drafting and reviewing ordinances, resolutions, and policies to ensure they comply with state and federal laws.
- Attend and represent clients in administrative hearings, city council meetings, and planning commissions.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to navigate challenges in public law, finding innovative solutions that drive results.
- Offer training to public agency staff on essential legal topics, such as AB 1234 compliance, keeping them informed and ahead of the curve.
- At least 5 years of legal practice, preferably in public agency, municipal law, or a related field.
- You're sharp, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- You thrive in a team environment but are equally comfortable managing projects independently.
- You're a member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Experience with government contracting, land use, labor and employment law, or environmental law is a bonus (but not required!).
