Client is a boutique plaintiff's personal injury law firm dedicated to representing individuals and families in serious injury and wrongful death cases. We are seeking an organized, motivated, and compassionate Paralegal to join our team and assist with complex personal injury litigation from initial client intake through settlement or trial.
As a small firm, every team member plays an important role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Manage personal injury cases from intake through final resolution
Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and experts
Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
Assist with filing in Virginia state and federal courts
Maintain case files and litigation deadlines
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
Prepare settlement packages and assist with case resolution
Perform general case management and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
Prior paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with legal case management software is a plus
Professional, dependable, and client-focused
Required
Valid driver's license
Current Virginia Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain immediately upon hire)

Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
