Responsibilities
- Manage litigation files and track deadlines
- Draft, proofread, and format pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Coordinate medical records, subpoenas, and document requests
- Assist with document review and trial preparation
- File documents in Mississippi state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, experts, adjusters, and court personnel
- Maintain accurate billable time in accordance with client guidelines
- Minimum 4 years of litigation paralegal experience (insurance defense preferred)
- Knowledge of Mississippi state and federal court procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general legal technology
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
