This role involves working with IP-based video systems, access control, and intrusion detection systems across multiple client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, test, and troubleshoot CCTV, IP video surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems
- Program and maintain networked IP video systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues in equipment and software with minimal supervision
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades
- Provide technical support and training to clients
- Lead and guide junior technicians and installers in the field
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in CCTV/IP video security, access control, and intrusion systems
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems
- Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, and system configuration
- Ability to work independently and solve technical issues efficiently
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with platforms such as Avigilon, Axis, Exacq, Digital Watchdog, Hanwha, or IPro
- Background in network support or multi-site system environments
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Must be based in or near East Bay / San Francisco / Livermore, CA
- Must be comfortable commuting daily to Pleasanton and Livermore
- Driving to multiple job sites is required
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must pass:
- Background check
- 10-panel drug screening
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Strong English communication skills required
