We're seeking a CMT Project Engineer for our next reservoir project near Ft. Lauderdale. One of the landmark projects - one of the largest in Florida, if not the entire nation. - Review quality issues as they arise to determine the root cause and suggest remediation options.
- Develop an understanding and be aware of the project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company. Be familiar with company risk policies.
- Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines.
- Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices.
- Able to lift heavy materials and equipment (50 lbs.).
- Work overnight and weekends when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, or Construction Management)
- 5 years' experience
- ACI Certifications preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to divide time between the office and the field to monitor and support technicians.
- Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and professionally with verbal and written communication
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
- Professional Engineer (PE)
