What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across multiple business entities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and subsidiary ledgers
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and general ledger posting
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Prepare documentation for audits and CPA tax-related activities
- Help maintain organized accounting records and improve internal processes where needed
- Support the Client Service team as time permits
- 5 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Willingness to learn, research new topics, and adapt to management requests and projects
- Prior experience in agriculture, nursery, farming, and financial services industries is a plus
- Bookkeeping certifications such as CB or CPB are helpful but not required
