Position Summary
The Fire Alarm Supervisor will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring all projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who thrives in both hands-on and supervisory roles, with strong technical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
- Conduct detailed inspections to identify system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with technicians, contractors, and service teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and providing professional support.
- Provide leadership and training to junior technicians and apprentices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, Electrical Journeyman, or Electrical Contractor (experienced apprentices encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, electrical schematics, and code compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- High school diploma required; two-year technical degree preferred.
