Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Analyze blueprints, plans, and project documentation to develop accurate time and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies
- Track and evaluate project costs throughout the bidding and execution phases
- Partner with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on scope changes and cost adjustments
- Present estimates to support management in budgeting and project planning
- Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Utilize estimating software to assess financial feasibility of projects
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role within the construction industry
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as blueprints and specifications
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Primarily office based work with extended periods at a computer
- Occasional site visits requiring walking, standing, or navigating uneven surfaces
- Light lifting of plans, documents, or equipment may be required
