Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from concept through construction.
- Design power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, low-voltage, and site electrical systems.
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, short circuit, and voltage drop studies.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, energy codes, and industry standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and support quality control reviews.
- Assist with proposals, business development, and client growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 7 years of electrical engineering experience in building systems design.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, and applicable codes.
- 10 years of consulting engineering experience.
- Experience with healthcare, municipal, industrial, educational, or aviation projects.
- NCEES Record, LEED AP, or CEM certification.
