We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support operations in a chemical manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

- Install, wire, calibrate, and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment in line with plant standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues in electrical systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and MCCs.
- Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance.
- Maintain documentation such as maintenance records, schematics, and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and confined space protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support smooth and reliable plant performance.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate mechanical and diaphragm pumps and pressure washers.
- Ability to read and interpret operating procedures and technical instructions.
- Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as an E&I Technician in an industrial/manufacturing environment, preferably chemical plant.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and instrumentation.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation or related field preferred.
- Ability to pass physical, respiratory, drug, and background screenings.
- Ability to use PPE and work in extreme hot/cold environments.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairwells.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions as required.
Salary : $25 - $30
