About The Role
The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing resort revenue through strategic revenue management, distribution strategy, and effective oversight of the Guest Experience/Reservation Sales department. This position leads day-to-day revenue and yield operations while ensuring revenue management systems and processes are effectively utilized to drive occupancy, revenue, conversion, and guest satisfaction.

The Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing resort revenue through strategic revenue management, distribution strategy, and effective oversight of the Guest Experience/Reservation Sales department. This position leads day-to-day revenue and yield operations while ensuring revenue management systems and processes are effectively utilized to drive occupancy, revenue, conversion, and guest satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee the resort's revenue management and distribution strategy and manage day-to-day yield operations.
- Conduct daily pickup analysis and make strategy adjustments based on current performance and market conditions.
- Analyze occupancy, revenue, booking pace, and other key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities.
- Conduct competitive benchmark studies and monitor relevant market trends.
- Create and maintain a 12-month rolling demand calendar.
- Partner with resort leadership to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Create, implement, and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Analyze STAR reports and other industry and internal performance reports.
- Prepare and communicate a weekly dynamic forecast, including expected results, variances, and comparisons to budget.
- Run daily pace reports and communicate performance, trends, and recommended strategies to the management team.
- Communicate revenue trends and recommendations to the General Manager, Hotel Operations, and Sales & Marketing leadership, particularly regarding pricing, policies, packages, and marketing opportunities.
- Participate as a key member of the resort's Revenue Management team.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of progressive hotel or resort revenue management experience.
- Experience in a multi-property, luxury, or resort environment preferred.
- High proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), and Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
- Experience with Agilysys and NAVIS/IDeaS systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, pricing, and yield management skills.
- Ability to communicate revenue strategies and recommendations effectively with senior resort leadership.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
